Sautéed Chilli Prawns with Pomodoras Sweet Chilli Balsamic: A Deliciously Bold Seafood Recipe
If you’re on the hunt for a quick yet extraordinary seafood dish, look no further than these Sautéed Chilli Prawns with Pomodoras Sweet Chilli Balsamic. This recipe brings together the perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and tangy flavours that elevate everyday prawns into a gourmet treat. Best of all, the dish comes together in just 15 minutes—ideal for busy weeknights or when you want to impress guests without spending hours in the kitchen.
A Symphony of Flavours
At the heart of this dish is the Sweet Chilli Balsamic Dressing by Pomodoras. This isn’t your everyday sauce—the unique formulation combines the depth of aged balsamic vinegar with a burst of chilli heat and a natural, alluring sweetness. As you sauté the prawns, the dressing reduces to a caramelised glaze that clings to each prawn, locking in moisture and infusing every bite with bold flavour. The result is a dish that’s both visually enticing and incredibly satisfying to the palate.
Ingredients and Preparation
For this recipe, simplicity meets sophistication. All you need are fresh or frozen prawns, garlic for an aromatic start, a splash of your favourite cooking oil, and of course, Pomodoras Sweet Chilli Balsamic Dressing. Begin by ensuring your prawns are peeled and deveined. Heat oil in a pan over high heat, and toss in a couple of crushed garlic cloves to infuse the oil with a warm, inviting aroma. Once the garlic is lightly golden, add the prawns and sauté for about three minutes until they just turn pink.
Next, pour in a generous drizzle of the sweet chilli balsamic. Watch as the mixture bubbles and reduces, forming a sticky glaze that lovingly coats the prawns. Continue to cook for another two minutes, letting the sauce intensify in flavour. This simple method preserves the delicate texture of the prawns while enhancing them with a sauce that’s both robust and harmonious.
Serving Suggestions and Pairings
One of the delightful aspects of this dish is its versatility. Serve these succulent prawns with over fluffy jasmine rice or alongside a crisp Asian slaw to add a refreshing crunch. They also make a fantastic starter when paired with crusty sourdough or lightly toasted ciabatta—each bite offers an explosion of flavours that complement the natural sweetness of the prawns.
For those who love a bit of extra heat, feel free to sprinkle finely chopped fresh chilli or squeeze a wedge of lime over the top. This not only heightens the spice factor but also adds a zesty kick that contrasts perfectly with the balsamic glaze.
